What is the AdWords Network Target?
Network Target controls where you ad will appear. You may choose a keyword-targeted or placement-targeted (formerly known as Content) network
Google Search: The ads will run on the Google Search which mean when someone goes to Google and types in a keyword that you are bidding on, your ad will appear in the Sponsored Links section of the results page
Search Network: The ads will run on Google Search as well as partner sites such as AOL, Ask, and Shopping.com which means that when someone goes to one of these partner Search sites and types in a keyword that you are bidding on with Google AdWords, your ad will appear in the Sponsored Links section of the results page.
Content Network (AdSense): The ads will run on content websites and blogs. AdWords ads on content sites are targeted to the content and URL of each page and are based on content themes as opposed to specific keywords. You can control which sites your ad will appear on within your AdWords campaign settings.
